What to Expect

🌈 Fidget and Spin is coming to West Hove!

Join us for movement, sensory fun and a warm welcome at our inclusive SEN Stay & Play at St Richard’s Church & Community Centre, situated on the Knoll Estate in West Hove.

Created for neurodivergent children aged 1–6 and their families, our relaxed sessions give every child the freedom to play and explore at their own pace across three specially designed sensory zones:

✨ Wiggle & Bounce — big movement for big energy
💛 Snuggle & Chill — a cosy space to pause and recharge
🌈 Squish & Squeeze — hands-on sensory play for curious fingers

While the children explore, grown-ups can enjoy a free tea or coffee, meet other parents and spend time with families who just get it.

🚗 Parking: Plenty of free on-street parking is available around the centre. Spaces cannot be guaranteed, so please allow a little extra time before your session.

🚌 By bus: The centre is within a 10-minute walk of the 2, 2B, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 16, 46 and 47 bus routes.

🚆 By train: Portslade railway station is approximately a 12-minute walk away.
